How to measure your room
Use a tape measure and enter metres. Measure each surface at its widest point.
1For a floorMeasure the longest length and widest width. The calculator multiplies length × width.
2For all wallsMeasure the room length, width and floor-to-ceiling height. We calculate the full perimeter × height.
3Doors & windowsMeasure width × height for each opening, add them together and enter the total deduction in m².
Example: a door 0.80 m wide × 2.00 m high = 1.60 m² to deduct. We add the selected cutting and breakage allowance automatically.
For “all walls”, the calculator uses the room perimeter × height. Deduct doors and windows above.
